Everything was dark, I was so cold, and the pain! I'd never been in so much pain. But even as I thought that it began to fade, but not just the pain, everything. I could feel my heart slowing down. I was dying. And I knew it.
My eyes flew open as I sat up bolt straight, gasping in horror.
Well, at least I would have if my head hadn't hit something hard. I tumbled onto the floor, propelled by the force of my violent waking, but I wasn't alone.
"Ow! That's my rib you're elbowing!"

Hope and faith,
